세월호 사건은 이제 언급하기도 지겹고, 양파든 뭐든 까도 까도 계속 나오는 것도 지겹고, 완전히 신기한 티비 써프라이즈에나 나올 법한 사고이며, 왠만큼 잘 짜인 각본의 반전 스릴러 영화도 이보다는 못할 것이다. 이 나라는 완전히 썩은 정도도 아니고 뭉개지고 뭉개져서 고름도 아니고 abscess도 아니고 gangrene 수준으로 가고 있으며, 사회 구조 자체가 완전히 모든 게 커넥션돼 있어, 자기들끼리 다 알아서 돌아가는 세상이고 기회라는 건 좆을 까도 없다. 정의로운 듯 말하는 사람의 말도 이젠 못믿겠고, 나 역시도 불의를 비판하지만 나 스스로도 과연 얼마나 정의로운지 나 자신도 못믿겠다. 이 땅이 싫어진다. 싫은 게 아니고 싫어진다.
